Exercise Resistance Tubing is the best fitness accessory that you're probably not using. Yet. Lightweight and versatile, resistance tubing is ideal to help build strength, improve mobility and increase flexibility. Designed as an accessory to the TheraBand Exercise Station, and Exercise Tubing in general, this 3' Padded Bar increases the range of exercises that can be performed with tubing and is ideal for range-of- motion, balance and core training in upper and lower body exercises. The Padded Bar works by pulling the tubing through the D-Rings or connecting to the D-Rings with the Clip Connectors. The bar can also be used on its own in conjunction with a TheraBand Door Anchor (available separately). The soft handle creates a better grip on the tubing while performing upper body movements, allowing those with arthritis or poor grip strength to use exercise tubing in training and rehab programs. Combined with progressive tubing, there are a near-infinite number of different fitness applications that can be done such as squats, arm raises, pull-downs, curls and many more. While the padded handle provides relief for the hands and allows for an easy, secure grip while in use, the bar itself is solid and durable enough to withstand repetitive use without incurring any wear or tear. This is one TheraBand Padded Bar only. Resistance exercise tubing and bands are available separately. Changing the positions of the D-Rings on the bar not only enables more exercises but it will also increase or decrease the intensity of the workout. While originally designed for TheraBand Tubing, the Padded Bar will work with any exercise tubing or exercise bands. Used in conjunction with exercise tubing, the Padded Bar has been proven to effectively increase muscle strength, coordination and balance as well as to decrease joint pain. Practically flat, the Padded Bar is easy to store nearly anywhere and a breeze to take on the go. To clean the Padded Bar, first wipe off any dirt with a damp cloth. Then mix the cloth with some mild soap. When done, wipe with clean water and allow to air dry.
